Moscow – May 12

Yulia was kind enough to let us sleep in and leave us a key to her apartment while she was out working. She had also left us some oatmeal porridge. I took advantage of the situation by working and showering and eating porridge and playing the ukulele all day. Meanwhile Brecht went to check out the graffiti district. After all hostels and campsites and sleeping on floors, this place felt like some kind of spa resort because of the giant soft bed, the jacuzzi in the bathroom, the quit neighborhood and just the general coziness of the place.

By the time Brecht and Yulia got back, my batteries were fully recharged and we went for a walk trough a beautiful park where we ate something unhealthy. On the way back we made a detour past the Kremlin and the red square, and that was all that I needed to see, so all in all this was just a perfect day.
